Hammond Park

This is a natural themed playground near the Waikato Awa (river) that complements the environment of the surrounding park and dovetails in with the narrative around the park being a space for our native species (swamp maire and the Pekapeka-tou-roa – long-tailed bat) to thrive. The playground incorporates a basket swing, double slide, balance beams, rockers, a spinner and is fully fenced.
