Magical Bridge Playground (in Claudelands Park) is Hamilton's first fully accessible playground.
The new playground was built in collaboration with Hamilton City Council and Magical Bridge Trust; a charitable trust started by passionate members of the disability community.
The 8000m2 fenced playground includes 3500m2 of themed zones, including a slide zone, balance and bounce zone, swing zone and spin zone, as well as retreat huts, waterplay, a playhouse and stage.
The design also includes shade, seating and drinking fountains.
Parking
We’ve sorted out some more parking for you to access the playground during the busy summer season.
- From 20 December to 8 January, you can park at the Settlement Centre.
- From 20 December to 21 January, you can park at Gate 1c and 3 of Claudelands Events Centre
