Steele Park is one of the oldest parks in Hamilton with a modern colourful playground that has in-ground trampolines, swings, and seesaws.

It is named after Lieutenant Steele who arrived in Hamilton in 1864.

The park has toilets, and is also near cafes and Hamilton East village.

Steele Park has two sports fields and two cricket pitches, and is a popular location for summer touch rugby competitions.
