Should be an underpass, not a pedestrian crossing, or bus Should drive into the subdivision. Why would you put a pedestrian crossing next to a roundabout, have to stop twice on the same small piece of road.

Underpass for pedestrian. Remove the roundabout and put traffic lights in, so pedestrian can cross at the lights.
