Submission ID 10108
Name Anthony Frank
Date 8 April 2026
Which option do you prefer?
Option 2: Retain the current 80km/h speed limit, do not change speed limit
Please tell us why?
Speed limit change is not necessary as lights are sufficient to stop traffic for pedestrian safety. A pedestrian underpass would be a safer and more appropriate option for this road, such as the ones on Wairere Dr.
Do you think any other physical changes are required to support the proposed speed limit change?
Better maintenance of the roundabouts, visibility is poor as the gardens are always overgrown.
How do you travel through the area?
Drive, Bike/Scooter
What do you use Te Rapa Road north for?
Travelling north bound/south bound, Travelling to/from work
Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation?
No, these are my own personal views
