| Which option do you prefer? |
Option 2: Retain the current 80km/h speed limit, do not change speed limit
|
| Please tell us why? |
WHY should there be a pedestrian crossing to nowhere on an arterial road.
It sounds like a dumb idea! Even if you drop the speed limit to 60, People will probably not stop for a pedestrian crossing unless you put lights on it. |
| Do you think any other physical changes are required to support the proposed speed limit change? |
Other arterial 80km/h roads have tunnels or overbridges. Those are the safest optoins.
The sloths that walk around that area will take a long time to cross 4 lanes. It may be best to split them into 2 crossing, with lights to ensure the racers from either side actually stop, Like the crossings on Fanshaw street in Auckland. |
| How do you travel through the area? |
Drive
|
| What do you use Te Rapa Road north for? |
Ocasionally use that road to/from Te-Rapa in peak times. It's quicker than Wairere drive to get to the East of the river.

| Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation? |
No, these are my own personal views
