I live in Pukete and work in Ngaruawahia. This is the ONLY part of the trip where you can overtake, and a lot of heavy traffic uses this road. And why put a pedestrian crossing on a main road?? Why not get the bus to make a short detour down Hutchinson? This plan gives everybody the worst of both worlds.
