| Which option do you prefer? |
Option 2: Retain the current 80km/h speed limit, do not change speed limit
|
| Please tell us why? |
Please don't lower more speed limits!
Although there will be a higher number of people living there. As it is still relatively rural there will be a high number of vehicles used by the residents. The crossing can be used, but when not in use, keeping traffic flowing into the city away from the highway is of very high value. The residents may be walking g near the river, but surely not enough on the road to warrant all the traffic. |
| Do you think any other physical changes are required to support the proposed speed limit change? |
If you must slow it down, can there be two through lanes plus the bus lane.
Giving more space for cars to spread out and get through the area .. not as fast but not stuck behind a long row of cars. |
| How do you travel through the area? |
Drive
|
| What do you use Te Rapa Road north for? |
Travelling north bound/south bound
|
| Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation? |
