Which option do you prefer?
Option 2: Retain the current 80km/h speed limit, do not change speed limit
Please tell us why?
It’s part of the main state highway regardless of the new development which will be ages away from fully complete not that many people will bike or walk along there. slower speed limits create frustrated drivers and more accidents if it’s 80 it flows in time that area is going to be congested with traffic anyway slowing it lower will only create worse traffic jams.
Do you think any other physical changes are required to support the proposed speed limit change?
No don’t change it.
How do you travel through the area?
Drive
What do you use Te Rapa Road north for?
It's a local road close to my house, Travelling to/from work
Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation?
No, these are my own personal views
