Option 2: Retain the current 80km/h speed limit, do not change speed limit
Please tell us why?
Because it's idiotic changing more speed limits even if someone else is paying for it. It will in some way or another have a larger impact on traffic flow and management. It's not a bad thing to expect people to use their brains and look both ways.

Why not consider an under or over pass

What do you use Te Rapa Road north for?
Travelling north bound/south bound, Travelling to/from work, For recreation i.e. cycling/bike track
