Which option do you prefer?
Option 1: Reduce the speed limit from 80km/h to 60km/h
Please tell us why?
Its a short stretch of road that probably shouldn't be 80km/h. The current limit means people aren't slowing appropriately for the roundabouts. Note the northern roundabout has limited entry visibly due to vegetation.
Do you think any other physical changes are required to support the proposed speed limit change?
No - signage only. Could consider speed bumps on the entry of roundabouts or at the proposed crossing but those are nice to have additions.
How do you travel through the area?
Drive
What do you use Te Rapa Road north for?
Travelling north bound/south bound, Travelling to/from work, For recreation i.e. cycling/bike track
Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation?
No, these are my own personal views
