Submission ID 8362
Name Becks Rollitt
Date 27 February 2026
Which option do you prefer?
Option 2: Retain the current 80km/h speed limit, do not change speed limit
Please tell us why?
There is a large walkway/cycle path along that stretch of road already keeping them off the roadway. Shouldn't be a need to reduce speed
Do you think any other physical changes are required to support the proposed speed limit change?
The new residential area is accessed at the end of a side road at the round about, meaning its no where near this stretch of road. If heavier traffic is going to be going through there then perhaps chances the round about to traffic lights for safety of extra vehicles in the area
How do you travel through the area?
Drive
What do you use Te Rapa Road north for?
Travelling north bound/south bound, Travelling to/from work
Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation?
No, these are my own personal views
