Because traffic flows better. Otherwise slower speeds cause more congestion. And the slower drivers' have to travel, the more road rage there is. They're main roads that many have to commute daily. Cobham drive should've been kept at 80km too and Great South Road kept at 100km. It's confusing changing speeds all the time. What are the stats for accidents since reducing the speeds on those 2 roads compared to before? Has it been safer?
