Which option do you prefer?
Option 2: Retain the current 80km/h speed limit, do not change speed limit
Please tell us why?
It is such a short section of road to be reducing the speed limit for it would be very frustrating and confusing for motorists. The only reason I can see for pedestrians crossing there would be for a bus stop which could easily be moved onto Hutchison road and would also be a lot safer there as there would be no reason at all to cross the busy road.
Do you think any other physical changes are required to support the proposed speed limit change?
Keep the speed limit as is and move any bus stop to Hutchison road. Then there would be no reason to have pedestrians on the main road.
How do you travel through the area?
Drive
What do you use Te Rapa Road north for?
It's a local road close to my house, Travelling north bound/south bound, Travelling to/from work, For recreation i.e. cycling/bike track
Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation?
No, these are my own personal views
