Which option do you prefer?
Option 1: Reduce the speed limit from 80km/h to 60km/h
Please tell us why?
I think speed reduction is wise given the increase in commuters and residents, making traffic slow down from express way speeds to 60 is a wise move.
Do you think any other physical changes are required to support the proposed speed limit change?
Yes, visibility entering and exiting round a bouts in the area is very poor and I have had many near misses with young children in the car. There’s no need for greenery in crucial points there is plenty of room and greenery around the rest of the area. Accidents already happen and will only get worse.
How do you travel through the area?
Drive, Bike/Scooter
What do you use Te Rapa Road north for?
It's a local road close to my house, Travelling north bound/south bound, Travelling to/from work, Take children to/from school, For recreation i.e. cycling/bike track
Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation?
No, these are my own personal views
