| Which option do you prefer? |
Option 2: Retain the current 80km/h speed limit, do not change speed limit
|
| Please tell us why? |
Why change if? It's working.. the people purchasing in Te Awa Lakes know that stretch is 80km when purchasing property. Also 80km to 60km then back to 80km is confusing for drivers. I get safety, but common sense is a thing and people should look before crossing (pedestrian crossing or not).
Also, alot of potential for disruption. I'm not sure many would be for this to change |
| Do you think any other physical changes are required to support the proposed speed limit change? |
How about you adjust the roundabout so it's more trucker friendly. So many people have tipped over on that roundabout just before this proposed km change. Scary even watching giving way to trucks and larger vehicles on that roundabout
