Which option do you prefer?
Option 2: Retain the current 80km/h speed limit, do not change speed limit
Please tell us why?
Keep at 80km, otherwise inconsistent speed in very short space. From 80 through Ngaruawahia to Horotiu, then drops to 60km at Horotiu, then back to 80km just after Horotiu then back to 60km for Te Awa Lakes then back to 80km for Te Rapa. Will create bottlenecks and road rage. It's bad enough now.
Do you think any other physical changes are required to support the proposed speed limit change?
Try lowering the height of roundabouts and removing vegetation on road sides at intersections to improve visibility. Currently limited to zero visibility at the on and off ramps and roundabouts is restricting traffic flow and causing accidents
How do you travel through the area?
Drive
What do you use Te Rapa Road north for?
It's a local road close to my house, Travelling north bound/south bound, Travelling to/from work, Take children to/from school
Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation?
No, these are my own personal views
