Which option do you prefer?
Option 2: Retain the current 80km/h speed limit, do not change speed limit
Please tell us why?
It is a currently a safe piece of two lane road. I have driven it every work day for the last five years and I have never seen anything to me that makes me think it should drop to 60km. The pedestrian crossing being added is a thing but provided it's appropraitely built then no worries there. Better still, build a pedestrian overpass or underpass id safety is the main concern.
Do you think any other physical changes are required to support the proposed speed limit change?
No
How do you travel through the area?
Drive
What do you use Te Rapa Road north for?
Travelling to/from work
Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation?
No, these are my own personal views
