Name Bree Wesselink
Date 5 March 2026
Which option do you prefer?
Option 2: Retain the current 80km/h speed limit, do not change speed limit
Please tell us why?
There are already changes in speed on that stretch of road, and I believe it to be an unnecessary waste of rate payer money. Would much rather spend money on upgrading roads and public transport than changing speed limits. Also, if the average speed through there is already 60km/h how would a new sign make it any safer?
Do you think any other physical changes are required to support the proposed speed limit change?
No.
How do you travel through the area?
Drive
What do you use Te Rapa Road north for?
It's a local road close to my house, Travelling north bound/south bound, Travelling to/from work, Take children to/from school
Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation?
No, these are my own personal views
