Which option do you prefer?
Option 2: Retain the current 80km/h speed limit, do not change speed limit
Please tell us why?
I travel this road umpteen number of times daily, the speed limit is not the issue. When drivers that drive to the speed limit, there is no issue, it is the ones that think it is a race track that is the problem, changing the speed limit is not going to stop these idiot drivers. A speed camera would probably be a better option.
Regarding pedestrian safety, I cant remember the last time I saw a pedestrian on that stretch of road!
Do you think any other physical changes are required to support the proposed speed limit change?
Speed cameras
How do you travel through the area?
Drive
What do you use Te Rapa Road north for?
Travelling to/from work, Shopping
Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation?
