| Which option do you prefer? |
Option 2: Retain the current 80km/h speed limit, do not change speed limit
|
| Please tell us why? |
It makes no sense to reduce that section of the road but maintain the higher speed limit on the south side of the roundabout near Hutchinson Rd through to Te Rapa.
One slow down in the middle of an area where there are 2 roundabouts which already naturally reduce the speed and flow of traffic makes no sense. Concerns about pedestrians also make little sense as they wouldn't be walking on the highway. They can get to the BP shopping area without ever touching the highway, and there is no safe way to walk to the south of the proposed area as well. |
| How do you travel through the area? |
Drive
|
| What do you use Te Rapa Road north for? |
Travelling north bound/south bound
|
| Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation? |
