Reducing the speed limit on this road is unnecessary, Efforts should instead focus on addressing specific hazards or driver behaviour rather than reducing the limit for everyone. What ever you do, DON'T IMPLEMENT A VARIABLE SPEED ZONE. Variable speed signs are confusing because drivers often don’t know what speed they are supposed to follow. A sign may be blank when approaching and then activate after the driver has passed it, leaving them unaware the limit has changed and potentially liable for speeding. Not to mention, they get ignored by drivers anyway
