| Which option do you prefer? |
Option 2: Retain the current 80km/h speed limit, do not change speed limit
|
| Please tell us why? |
Keeping the speed limit at 80?km/h is important because it maintains efficient traffic flow without compromising safety for drivers familiar with the road conditions. A reduction to 60?km/h could lead to unnecessary congestion, longer travel times, and increased driver frustration, which may ironically cause more risky overtaking or erratic driving. With appropriate signage, road maintenance, and enforcement, an 80?km/h limit supports both safety and practicality for regular commuters and transport vehicles that rely on timely travel.

| Do you think any other physical changes are required to support the proposed speed limit change? |
