As people are not permitted to walk on the motorway or train tracks i do not see why a crosswalk is necessary from Hutchinson road. There is nothing behind bern road for the public and I have not seen realistic plans to connect the new subdivision to the industrial area. If anything the new subdivision should connect near kernott road to connect horotiu.
