Which option do you prefer?
Option 2: Retain the current 80km/h speed limit, do not change speed limit
Please tell us why?
I travel on this section daily after heading off SH 1C heading to Te Rapa, I believe reducing the speed will create additional congestion as this is a busy road and will make the roundabout at 1C more difficult and hazardous to exit from.
I appreciate the crossing will not change but more information should be provided why there is a pedestrian crossing. Is it for School buses to Horotiu? If so it would make sense for pick up to be in Hutchinson Road.
I don't understand why pedestrians or cyclists would want to access an area between a State Highway and Petrol station. I would assume cyclists would prefer to use the Te Awa River Ride.
How do you travel through the area?
Drive
What do you use Te Rapa Road north for?
Travelling to/from work
Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation?
No, these are my own personal views
