Option 2: Retain the current 80km/h speed limit, do not change speed limit

I think it will be safer to have crossing lights there rather than a pedestrian crossing at 60km/h. Especially because there is not much developed around the area (apart from the BP side) so don’t anticipate people coming out onto Te Rapa Road to walk.
Do you think any other physical changes are required to support the proposed speed limit change?
Installing lights can be a good idea.
