Which option do you prefer?
Option 2: Retain the current 80km/h speed limit, do not change speed limit
Please tell us why?
The proposal could have been clearer. I assume the only reason there MUST be a pedestrian passing is because of the bus stop? I had to verify this using google Maps.
The traffic will be slowed down on a straight area for people sometimes crossing to get to the bus stop only, as I can see no other reason for them to stop.
Do you think any other physical changes are required to support the proposed speed limit change?
Why not place the pedestrian crossing and the bus stops on the nearby Hutchinson Road, which will be slower moving traffic.
How do you travel through the area?
Drive
What do you use Te Rapa Road north for?
It's a local road close to my house, Travelling to/from work
Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation?
No, these are my own personal views
