Submission ID 8580
Name Delenn Geary
Date 13 March 2026
Which option do you prefer?
Option 2: Retain the current 80km/h speed limit, do not change speed limit
Please tell us why?
I do not see a point in using tax money to change signage when everyone goes the speed they wish anyways. Mostly going the speed limit.
I also dont see a point changing it as it is under 500 meters. The cost it will be to make these changes will not benefit anyone. Whether you change it or not, people will proceed with the old speed limi.
Do you think any other physical changes are required to support the proposed speed limit change?
No, do not change the speed limit, however, roundabout signage could be more clear
How do you travel through the area?
Drive
What do you use Te Rapa Road north for?
Travelling north bound/south bound
Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation?
No, these are my own personal views
