Which option do you prefer?
Option 2: Retain the current 80km/h speed limit, do not change speed limit
Please tell us why?
I don’t think lowering the speed limit from 80 km/h to 60 km/h along the whole road is necessary. The road is designed for 80 km/h and already feels safe to drive at that speed. Plus during busier hours it already slows down with the bump road points.
Do you think any other physical changes are required to support the proposed speed limit change?
I guess you could add a speed bump kinda crossing to make it slow during the pedestrian crossing points.
How do you travel through the area?
Drive
What do you use Te Rapa Road north for?
Travelling to/from work, For recreation i.e. cycling/bike track, It’s the road I use for shopping and household related things.
Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation?
