Which option do you prefer?
Option 2: Retain the current 80km/h speed limit, do not change speed limit
Please tell us why?
As a daily commuter on this stretch of road, I feel it's a good flow of traffic at 80kms. Having reduced to 60kms would confuse travellers coming off the 80kms by the dairy company. It would create the stop start flow, which has more potential to cause an accident.
Do you think any other physical changes are required to support the proposed speed limit change?
Has an overhead pedestrian walkway been considered?
Pedestrian crossing moved to the Sikh Temple, which produces a heck of traffic there.
How do you travel through the area?
Drive, Bike/Scooter, Motorbike
What do you use Te Rapa Road north for?
It's a local road close to my house, Travelling north bound/south bound, Travelling to/from work
Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation?
No, these are my own personal views
