Which option do you prefer?
Option 2: Retain the current 80km/h speed limit, do not change speed limit
Please tell us why?
There is already a need to slow down for Roundabouts in the area. Unless there will be houses with driveways pulling out straight onto the road, I don’t actually see the reasoning behind the need to reduce the speed.
Do you think any other physical changes are required to support the proposed speed limit change?
If you are making the change, and using pedestrians as the reason, then suitable foot paths around the area would make sense.
How do you travel through the area?
Drive
What do you use Te Rapa Road north for?
It's a local road close to my house, Travelling north bound/south bound, For recreation i.e. cycling/bike track, Driving from home to appointments in Hamilton city, shopping/ groceries, visiting family.
Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation?
