Which option do you prefer?
Option 2: Retain the current 80km/h speed limit, do not change speed limit
Please tell us why?
What a ridiculous condition of consent. Te awa should be putting in a ped bridge or a tunnel, not a signalised crossing. It is creating conflict. Also - why?? It goes to nowhere.
I don’t see why you would want to walk over the to state highway.
Also dropping to 60 will make the road disjointed. It’s a high speed area. The police will be rubbing their hands together as they set up for speeding fines.
I don’t see too much common sense in this proposal for either the signalised crossing or the drop in speed limit. It is mitigating an unnecessary risk.
Do you think any other physical changes are required to support the proposed speed limit change?
Leave it alone
How do you travel through the area?
Drive, Bike/Scooter
What do you use Te Rapa Road north for?
It's a local road close to my house, Travelling north bound/south bound
Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation?
No, these are my own personal views
