What a ridiculous condition of consent. Te awa should be putting in a ped bridge or a tunnel, not a signalised crossing. It is creating conflict. Also - why?? It goes to nowhere.
I don’t see why you would want to walk over the to state highway. Also dropping to 60 will make the road disjointed. It’s a high speed area. The police will be rubbing their hands together as they set up for speeding fines. I don’t see too much common sense in this proposal for either the signalised crossing or the drop in speed limit. It is mitigating an unnecessary risk. |
