We have been using that roundabout for years now and from what I noticed, most people tend to go 60 to 70 to navigate through those turns safely anyway. If youre planning to put a pedestrian crossing near that BP, visibility is the issue. Its difficult to see anyone crossing if youre coming from Te Rapa going to Horotiu.

All the tall structures/foliage need to be taken out and possibly some mirrors to see other cars/pedestrians. It eliminates the guesswork for drivers about any hazards on that roundabout.
