Submission ID 9379
Name Helen Wakelin
Date 26 March 2026
Which option do you prefer?
Option 2: Retain the current 80km/h speed limit, do not change speed limit
Please tell us why?
There is nothing on the other side of the road to cross too? If that is the case, then maybe a pedestrian bridge would be safer to allow the free flow of traffic and no pedestrian casualties. Unless there are going to be residential buildings built along both sides of the expressway, then it should remain at 80km/h
Do you think any other physical changes are required to support the proposed speed limit change?
I do not support the proposed change.
How do you travel through the area?
Drive
What do you use Te Rapa Road north for?
Travelling to/from work
Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation?
No, these are my own personal views
