Which option do you prefer?
Option 2: Retain the current 80km/h speed limit, do not change speed limit
Please tell us why?
The location of the proposed crossing is at the end/start of the road, traffic is unlikely to be travelling at 80km/h in that portion of the road.
Should be developers cost to set up the new crossing, the hamilton ratepayers shouldn't need to fund changes to a road that does not experience a high number of collisions.
Do you think any other physical changes are required to support the proposed speed limit change?
.
How do you travel through the area?
Drive
What do you use Te Rapa Road north for?
It's a local road close to my house, Travelling north bound/south bound, Travelling to/from work
Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation?
