Which option do you prefer?
Option 2: Retain the current 80km/h speed limit, do not change speed limit
Please tell us why?
People already drive at a slower speed than posted, and if the limit was 60 km/hr, they would drive slower again! There is no need to reduce even more speed limits around the city as it only causes ever increasing frustration for motorists against the council. There are other similar stretches of road that are also at 80 km/hr and are very safe at said speed.
Do you think any other physical changes are required to support the proposed speed limit change?
Leave the speed limit at 80 km/hr.
How do you travel through the area?
Drive
What do you use Te Rapa Road north for?
Travelling north bound/south bound, Travelling to/from work
Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation?
