I partially support option 1

Please please consider some rules around the use of speakers. I work in the CBD in Garden Place. When there are loud events using speakers during work hours, this is a huge hindrance to productive working. We’ve had huge issues that have caused our team to even leave our office and work from home because we can’t concentrate. Please put restrictions around the use of speakers near offices and during the week, during work hours. If you don’t, you might start to lose some businesses from the CBD area as this is not a work-friendly rule.

As I said above, we are a business operating in the CBD in Garden Place and have had experiences with loud events on speakers during the work day. This is incredibly disruptive to professionals trying to concentrate and do work. We won’t be able to tolerate more of this and would consider leaving the CBD altogether if there’s more noise from buskers, etc
