Do you support Council’s proposal to make minor amendments to the Trading in Public Places Bylaw?
I partially support option 1
Please tell us the reasons for your response.
I agree with all of the proposals *Except* allowing street buskers to use amplified sound without a permit.
All such use of amilified sound in streets near businesses and residences should still require a permit and be subject to certain conditions. However, there should be no requirement to hold a permit to use amplified sound in a public park between hours set in the policy (e.g. 9am to 9pm).
Do you support Council’s proposal to make minor amendments to the Trading in Public Places Policy?
I support option 1: continue the policy with proposed amendments
Please tell us the reasons for your response.
The council needs to stop unnecessarily interfering in things that have negligible safety or detrimental effects. That just wastes ratepayers' money.
Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation?
