I agree with all of the proposals *Except* allowing street buskers to use amplified sound without a permit.
All such use of amilified sound in streets near businesses and residences should still require a permit and be subject to certain conditions. However, there should be no requirement to hold a permit to use amplified sound in a public park between hours set in the policy (e.g. 9am to 9pm). |

The council needs to stop unnecessarily interfering in things that have negligible safety or detrimental effects. That just wastes ratepayers' money.
