Do you support Council’s proposal to make minor amendments to the Trading in Public Places Bylaw?
I partially support option 1
Please tell us the reasons for your response.
Specifically I would prefer footpath signage not to be placed where it obstructs a desire line (direct route) for a footpath user going from A to B. That is not addressed adequately.
And: outdoor trading (which includes dining) should not occupy footpath areas under canopies, i.e. footpath users going from A to B should have priority use of at least 1.7 or 2.0 metres (as the case may be) of shelter, not traders. That too is not addressed.
Do you support Council’s proposal to make minor amendments to the Trading in Public Places Policy?
I partially support option 1
Please tell us the reasons for your response.
Please see response to Question 1, to which policy should be adapted.
Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation?
No, these are my own personal views
