Amendments allow for businesses to have signs and tables and chairs outside without onerous costs, particularly given the difficult trading conditions they are facing and have faced recently. Also amendments to encourage markets, events and anything that makes Hamilton a more vibrant and attractive place is great news.

Completely support encouraging more vibrant spaces, particularly in our city centre. Making it more affordable for the people and businesses taking part will only help to make it more viable for them.
