| 1. Do you have any feedback on the IAWAI Water Services Strategy? |
It isn’t clear. Regardless, I don’t support the privatisation of water.

| 2a. Do you support a growth pays for growth approach for new residential and commercial developments, including the use of growth charges to help fund growth-related infrastructure and services? |
Partially support

What does this look like for ratepayers?
I support growth pays for growth for new builds only. I also support new builds having the option to become more self sufficient and install water tanks to collect their own water which would not be subject to IAWAI regulations. |
| 2b. In the current residential growth charges proposal secondary minor dwellings (i.e. granny flats) may be treated as ½ HUE. Do you support treating secondary minor dwellings as ½ HUE? If you have an alternative proposal, please explain. |

| 5. Do you have any feedback on the Significance and Engagement Policy? |
It is not clear. I’m specifically looking for references to rural WDC properties that collect their own water. My concern is that existing rural residents will be forced to comply with IAWAI rules and regulations. These residents paid for their own water supply, are not connected to public services, yet are still billed for water in rates invoices.
IAWAI should not have any jurisdiction over these properties. |
| 6. Do you support IAWAI'S Waiver Policy? |
