| 1. Do you have any feedback on the IAWAI Water Services Strategy? |
Flowing Waters needs some sort of ratepayer representation at the table. How will ratepayers be assured that their money is being spent wisely by basically unelected people at Flowing Waters. How are people being held accoutable with some councils / CCOs round the country making terrible decisions around expenditure. Consultation on this seems weak, at last count a pretty pathetic amount of feedback has been lodged. HCC/ Flowing Waters needs to somehow garner more feedback - more community events held locally at more suburbs for a startegy that is far reaching and a major shift. What does it mean for property owners who take care of their own sewarage and collect rain water for all household water services?
