1. Do you have any feedback on the IAWAI Water Services Strategy?
I’m a bit worried as paying new CEO’s is going to cost more- I’ve heard the water meters are coming in and that the amounts charged will be averaged. That wouldn’t be fair or we who live alone and what would be the use of water meters in that case! I’m not quite sure about why this would happen!
2a. Do you support a growth pays for growth approach for new residential and commercial developments, including the use of growth charges to help fund growth-related infrastructure and services?
Yes
Please provide comment.
I think we local ratepayers have already paid for the infrastructure so it’s good if growth pays for their part of it!
2b. In the current residential growth charges proposal secondary minor dwellings (i.e. granny flats) may be treated as ½ HUE. Do you support treating secondary minor dwellings as ½ HUE? If you have an alternative proposal, please explain.
Yes,
Please explain.
Not sure what HUE means but shouldn’t everyone pay for their own infrastructure? Would that be fair!
3. How would you prefer IAWAI engage you?
Website, Letter / Flyer, Focus groups
4. Do you support IAWAI’s Significance and Engagement Policy?
Yes
5. Do you have any feedback on the Significance and Engagement Policy?
Just needs to be transparent and water is a human right so any charges need to be fair!
6. Do you support IAWAI'S Waiver Policy?
Yes
7. Do you have any feedback on the the Waiver Policy?
As long as it’s carried out when issues are apparent!
Are you giving feedback on behalf of an organisation?
No, these are my own personal views
