I think there should be a cap on increases and only elected council members should be on the board. We should have consultation but not have co governance with iwi. We are one nation and should have one governing body elected by the people.

I don’t believe that there should be multiple huis to consult Iwi’s if iwi are already on the board making decisions and how much will each hui cost ratepayers, when decisions that affect all ratepayers can be made in council offices by elected members.
