Annie Jr
Everyone knows the story about the spunky Depression-era orphan determined to find her parents, so Musimakers bring you Annie Jr at Riverlea Theatre. This heart-warming musical runs from Tuesday 15 January to Saturday 19 January and follows the story on how Annie transforms her life through song and dance.

Les Mills Summer Series
With summer well underway, Les Mills have developed a few monthly fitness sessions to help kickstart 2019. Head down to Victoria on the River on Saturday 19 January, Saturday 16 February and Saturday 16 March for a high intensity workout followed by yoga and stretching session. All you need is a yoga mat and a positive attitude!

The HSBC New Zealand Sevens is returning to FMG stadium Waikato for 2019 and this year is all about mixing it up. Think outside the box and get dressed up as something outrageous to watch your favourite Sevens team fight for victory. There will be plenty of action to enjoy both on-field and off-field so come be part of it. Happening on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 January and tickets are selling fast – so get in quick!

Grooves in the Gardens
Hamilton Gardens is the place to be on Sunday 24 February as Grooves in the Garden will be filling Rhododendron Lawn with retro vinyl vibes. There will be over a dozen DJs, loads of good music and a retro market for you to be tempted by the collectibles, records books and more. Entry is only a gold coin donation and this event is part of the Hamilton Gardens Arts Festival which runs from Wednesday 20 February to Wednesday 3 March.
