E-scooters have been zooming around Hamilton’s streets since August last year and now the six-month trial period is almost up, it is time for the city to rate them.
Hamilton City Council launched an e-scooter share scheme with LIME six months ago after seeing just how popular these hire devices had become around the country.
Since the launch, around 400 e-scooters have been available for hire across Hamilton. With the six-month trial coming to an end, the Council is keen to hear the community’s views.
The Council wants to know whether you have used an e-scooter during this time and how the experience was.
The survey questions also look at how safe you think the hire devices are, and whether you think the Council should continue to allow these to operate within Hamilton.
The information gathered from the survey will be reported to the Council’s Infrastructure Operations Committee in late February.
The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete and can be found online at haveyoursay.hamilton.govt.nz/.
The survey closes at 5pm, 27 March 2020. All answers are completely confidential and individuals cannot be identified.
