Small standalone dwellings (granny flats)

Project Information Memorandum (PIMs) for small standalone dwellings can be applied for small standalone dwellings up to 70 square metres if they have a simple design that meets the Building Code, the work is carried out or supervised by licensed building professionals and all exemption conditions are met.

Reminder, you must notify us before you start building and within 20 working days of completing the building work, provide us with all necessary documentation and pay development contributions.
